What We Build
Every tool on devtools.run solves a real, recurring problem. No feature bloat. No paywalls. No sign-up required. We start with the tools developers reach for dozens of times a week — JSON formatters, encoders, converters — and keep adding more.
Developer Tools
JSON formatter, JWT decoder, Regex tester, UUID generator, Base64 encoder and more.
Text Tools
Case converter, word counter, slug generator, duplicate line remover, and text diff.
Color Tools
HEX ↔ RGB converter, color contrast checker, gradient builder, palette generator.
Converters
URL encoder, Unix timestamp converter, Base64, number base conversions, and more.
Our Principles
These aren't just marketing words — they're decisions baked into every line of code we ship.
-
⚡
Instant, no loading screens
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. There are no API calls, no server round-trips, no spinners. Results appear as you type.
-
🔒
Your data never leaves your device
We process everything client-side with JavaScript. The JSON you paste, the files you upload — none of it is transmitted anywhere.
-
🚫
No accounts, no tracking, no ads
We don't ask you to sign up. We don't run behavioral ad networks. We don't build profiles. Open a tool, use it, close it.
-
📱
Works everywhere
Every tool is fully responsive. Whether you're on a wide monitor or a phone in your pocket, the experience is equally usable.

🌱
Constantly growing
We ship new tools regularly, shaped by what the community actually asks for. If you have a request, we want to hear it.
Why We Built This
Developers spend a surprising amount of time on tiny, repetitive tasks — pretty-printing an API response, converting a timestamp, checking a regex. The existing tools for these jobs are often cluttered with ads, require logins, or send your data to a server.
We wanted something simpler. A site you can trust with sensitive data (API keys in JWT payloads, credentials in config files) because it genuinely never sees them. A site that loads instantly and gets out of your way.
devtools.run is our answer to that. Every tool we add has to meet one test: is it something a developer will actually use this week?
Open & Transparent
All tools on this site are built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no obscure dependencies, no trackers. You can inspect every line of code in your browser's developer tools. That's the point.
